FACT SHEET

DESCRIPTION: Jesse Fontaine and his group of musicians break down generational barriers through the
integration of popular standards, Jazz and Rock ballads. This distinctive sound makes for a memorable
performance.

MISSION: For more than five years, the band's mission has remained the same: preserving the music of the
Great American Song Book through live performances and various recordings. In addition to the main idea
of preserving America’s “Classical Music,” Jazz, Jesse Fontaine strives to create a comfortable listening
experience for all audiences, in turn, introducing a younger generation to the musical genre of Jazz with a
contemporary sound.

THE MUSICIAN:  Jesse Fontaine has a strong tenor voice and the dynamic energy of a born performer.
Not only does he produce concerts, he has performed in his productions of “Jazz and Beyond” for the last 5
years at various locations, such as The Singh Performance Center in Whitinsville, MA not only to raise
contemporary awareness of Jazz, but to also act as a humanitarian and philanthropist.  Fontaine has
performed alongside fellow musicians during the “Voices of Hope” concert series to raise funds for UNICEF
and Catholic Charities in Shrewsbury, MA. He has also had the honor of performing at political events for
State Sen. Richard T. Moore (D).  In addition, his production was featured at Worcester’s Street Festival
stART on the Street in 2007 and 2009.

In past years, Fontaine headlined fund raising concerts at Worcester State College for the Massachusetts
Brain Injury Association, with additional performances at the Zecco Performing Arts Center of Anna Marie
College (Paxton, MA) to raise funds for the college’s choral program. Fontaine continues to keep America’s
classical music alive through his many performances and continued efforts to support local community
organizations while providing superior productions.
